Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) 200mg
Disodium edetate 0.2 mg
Methyl praben 0.8mg
Propyl paraben 0.2mg
Sodium sulphite 2.0mg
to 1ml Excipient
PHARMACEUTICAL FORM:
The VITA-C pack contains a 50 ml vial

PROPERTIES:
VITA-C contain
Vitamin C which acts as hydrogen-carrier in the cellular
oxidation-reduction processes
It takes part in the formation of adrenal and gonadal secretions. It has effects on the resistance of the system towards various aggressions (infections, intoxication and over-exertion) by intervention in the adaptation process
The role of Vitamin C has been recognised in growth and in phosphorus and calcium metabolism
;Vitamin C therapy – increases general tonus and basal metabolism,
– stimulates adreno-cortical secretions,
– increases intestinal peristalsis,
– increases capillary wall tonus, reduces bleeding time
and stimulates erythrocyte maturation,
– accelerates Tong-bone growth and the formation of callus bone -tissue in fractures
– reduces sensitivity in anaphylactic shock
INDICATION:
VITA-C providing vitamin C
AMOUNTS TO BE ADMINISTERED
AND ADMINISTRATION ROUTS:
Intravenous, intramuscular and oral routes
Daily dose of VITA-C: 20 to 60 mg ascorbic acid per kg live weight per day,
corresponding to
HORSES-CATTLE
Adults . from 50 to 100 ml
Youngs . from 10 to 30 ml
SHEEP, GOATS . from 5 to 25 ml
DOGS from 1 to 5 ml
CATS from 0.5 to 1 ml
POULTRY (for 10 animals) from 1 to 5 ml
Oral administration is preferable for chronic conditions or as an addition to parenteral administration

Shelf life after first opening the container: 28 days
Keep the vial in the outer carton to protect from light
