COMPOSITION:
Each ml Procamax-300 contains
Penicillin G procaine 300.000 IU
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES:
Penicillins are rapidly absorbed when injected in an aqueous suspension by the intramuscular route
However, absorption of Penicillin G from a procaine penicillin preparation is prolonged, with peak blood levels being attained at approximately 2-4 hours and declining at 48 hours

Cattle, sheep, and horse
INDICATIONS:
Procamax-300 is used for the treatment of general infectious diseases caused by mainly Gram-positive bacteria susceptible to benzylpenicillin in horses, cattle, and sheep.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Procamax-300 not to be administered to animals known to be sensitive to penicillin.
Not to be used when it is known that penicillinase-producing staphylococcus organisms are present
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Shake well before use.
Procamax-300 for deep intramuscular administration only.
The recommended dose is 1 ml / 20 kg bodyweight. Repeat administration daily up to 3-5 days.
To ensure a correct dosage body weight should be determined as accurately as possible to avoid under-dosing.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: 5 days
Milk: 11 days.
STORAGE CONDITION AND SHELF LIFE:
StoreProcamax-300 below 25° C. Protect from sunlight.
Shelf life before opening: 2 years.
In-use shelf life: 30 days when stored cool.
