ARTIZONE-S is an Anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic & analgesic injectable solution
COMPOSITION
Each ml ARTIZONE-S contains:
Phenylbutazone B.P. (Vet) 200 mg
Sodium Salicylate B.P. (Vet) 20 mg
DESCRIPTION (ARTIZONE-S
ARTIZONE-S contains Phenylbutazone which is a Nonsteroidal Anti Inflammatory Drug with analgesic and anti- inflammatory properties with a proven safety & efficacy in the treatment of musculo- skeletal conditions in animals.
It penetrates deep into joints and muscles. It has
a long duration of action.
Sodium Salicylate is a well-established time tested antipyretic cum analgesic agent and is known for its rapid central and local action.
INDICATIONS
Cattle, Sheep, Goat, Camel & Horses:
ARTIZONE-S act as an antipyretic and analgesic in all cases of fever associated with pain especially in Ephemeral fever, musculo skeletal affections such as Arthritis, Tendinitis, Luxations, Fractures, Sprains, Burns, Acute Mastitis and Prolapses.

ARTIZONE-S Non-teratatogenic, Non-mutagenic-
Good toleralability-no effect on fertility-
No contraindications with any antibiotic therapy-
ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE
ARTIZONE-S is given by IM or slow IV route
Cattle, camel & horse: 20 ml for first 2 days followed by half the dose on subsequent days till recovery.
Sheep, goat, foal, calf & pigs: 5-10ml for first 2 days followed by half the dose on subsequent days till recovery.
CAUTION
Care should be taken to avoid perivascular administration during intravenous injection of ARTIZONE-S
Withdrawal period
For Meat: 14 days.
For Milk: 3 days.
CONTRA INDICATIONS
ARTIZONE-S is contraindicated in cases of chronic nephritis, cardiac insufficiency, gastritis and haemoglobinuria.
